Caitlin holds adoctorate in theology and a certificate in Marian Studies from the Universityof Dayton, a Marianist institution in Ohio, USA. She is preparing to publishher first book, Mary Among Us, with Orbis Books.
Caitlin joined the lay branch of the Marianist Family inDecember 2011 through her commitment to the Ahava Community. She then spent ayear living and working in mixed Marianist Community in the mountains of Peru.From 2018 to 2021, she was on the Marianist Lay Community of North AmericaLeadership Council, where she built a national team of Area Representatives toenhance Marianist Lay Leadership across two countries. She also spent a numberof years in formation with the Marianist Sisters.
Caitlin has published several academic articlesand presented nationally and internationally on Marianist Lay Communities. Sheis fluent in Spanish and English and can read French, Latin, and Italian.
