Francisca M. Jere was called to Marianist Lay Community life in 1998 and made her Marianist consecration in 2002. She is a member of the Chaminade Marianist Lay Community in Lusaka, Zambia, and serves as the coordinator of the Adele Marianist Lay Community, a community dedicated to accompanying and nurturing young people. She also belongs to the Ember Marianist Lay Community under the Marianist Lay Communities of North America (MLC-NA) .Since her consecration in 2002, Francisca has served in various leadership roles at the local, regional, and international levels within the Marianist Family. She had the privilege of serving as President of the Marianist Lay Communities of Eastern Africa Region and she later served on the World Council of the Marianist Family as the Regional President for Africa, representing and supporting Marianist Lay Communities across the continent. Currently, she serves as an Advisor on the Africa Leadership Team, continuing to contribute her experience and commitment to the growth of the Marianist mission in Africa.
Professionally, Francisca is a lecturer contributing to the academic excellence at one of the public universities in Lusaka, Zambia.
